Starting my morning with some yummy breakfast to give me some energy for the day. Red Delicious apple with peanut butter and a (second) cup of coffee.
OMG, am I out of shape. After 20 minutes of intervals I reprogrammed the machine to manual and put it on zero resistance. After another 10 minutes I had to get off completely. My knees were aching and the arches of my feet were so sore. This morning I woke up to tight quad muscles and achy knees.
I used to be able to crank out 40-50 minutes of interval training on the elliptical and yesterday I could barely complete 30 minutes! It goes to show that even though I have lost a ton of weight, it is super easy to get out of shape.
I feel pretty good about actually making it to the gym though. The real test will come this week and if I can keep going. I'm off from work today, so I have no reason not to go later this afternoon. My goal for today is to do at least 40 minutes of cardio and an ab workout.
