Weekly Weigh In

Happy Friday!

It's been forever since I posted an official weekly weigh in.  I still weigh in every Friday morning, however the scale has read between 174 and 176 since August, so I didn't feel it was necessary to update my blog.

Since I'm finally feeling motivated to lose the last 20-30 pounds, I figured it was time to start weighing in again!

I weighed in this morning at 173.4, which means I didn't gain a single pound between Thanksgiving and Christmas and actually lost a few ounces as well!

I would like to say that I have been eating super light this week since I've been battling a stress induced migraine and another respiratory infection. I do feel that my actual weight is probably right at 174 pounds.

It also time to set a new weight loss goal for myself.  I would like to lose 6 pounds between now and February 5.  That will put me at 168 pounds and a total of 50 pounds lost.  I wanted to start small with this mini goal to get me back into the swing of things.  After this I will set larger goals.

This weekend I also want to make some sort of motivation board, similar to the one below that has been all over Pinterest.   I think having some type of visual around will keep me motivated. 

I hope everyone has a great weekend!  I'm planning on going to a Bikram yoga class this evening to unwind from a stressful week.

  2. the motivation board idea is such a great idea! i seriously need to do the same since i sort of lost the motivation i had.
